Payments for VELA membership dues can be made by clicking on the appropriate button below.  Membership is open to attorneys who are 1) admitted to the Virginia Bar and 2) devote more than 55 percent of their time spent on employment-related matters on representing employees.  Annual membership is $50 except that dues for new attorneys—attorneys who have been admitted to practice in any state for less than two years—is $25.  A button is also provided to make donations or other payments to VELA.  Membership is for the calendar year except that memberships paid on or before December 31, 2022 will not expire until the end of 2023.  Paying membership dues constitutes a certification that the payee is eligible for membership.
